Senior Quantity Surveyor
£50k - £60k
A leading Building & Refurbishment Contractor based in the East Midlands who undertake projects within the Retail and Commercial sectors.
With their staff being at the forefront of what they do, they are fully committed to invest in their careers and offer continuous improvement. This in turn results in quality customer service and a high level of project delivery across the business.
Therefore, as part of their growth plans, they are looking to take on a Senior Quantity surveyor who can initially provide commercial support on projects, and longer term, be the person to head up and build a commercial team under them.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will have commercial responsibility for projects, working alongside Contracts Managers to ensure a profitable delivery.
- Management of all costs related to projects.
- Overseeing Assistant Surveyors
- Preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Value management and cost control.
- Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
- Work alongside the Contracts manager to ensure effective and profitable delivery of projects.
Longer term, there will be the opportunity to build a commercial team underneath you and essentially be the commercial lead for the company.
