Site Manager Job DescriptionAs a Site Manager, you will have day to day responsibility for supporting the running of the site.Responsibilities include:Ensuring site is running to programme.Management of subcontractors.Ensuring relevant documentation is up to date Liaising with architects/design teams.Client visits.Manage Health & Safety plans.Site setup and inductions.Offering support to Assistant managers.You will report to a Contracts Manager and be given all the relevant support to successfully deliver projects.The company will also put you through relevant training courses and support your professional development. This position is to be based in their headquarters in Birmingham with Sites within an hour's travel of the office. This is ideal for people based in Birmingham, Leicester, Derby, Coventry etc.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have overall commercial responsibility of projects, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful delivery.
- Management of all costs related to projects.
- Procurement of key sub-contractor packages.
- Being involved in client meetings.
- Working with operations and design teams to deliver projects from inception to completion.
- Pricing variations and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Value management and cost control.
- Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
