Site Manager Job DescriptionAs a Site Manager, you will have day to day responsibility for supporting the running of the site.Responsibilities include:Ensuring site is running to programme.Management of subcontractors.Ensuring relevant documentation is up to date Liaising with architects/design teams.Client visits.Manage Health & Safety plans.Site setup and inductions.Offering support to Assistant managers.You will report to a Contracts Manager and be given all the relevant support to successfully deliver projects.The company will also put you through relevant training courses and support your professional development. This position is to be based in their headquarters in Northampton with Sites within an hour's travel of the office. This is ideal for people based in Northampton, Rugby, Milton Keynes and anywhere inbetween.
You will need to take projects from inception of contracts through to on site delivery going to site as and when required. You will also need to manage all the variations along the project process, working closely with sub contracts for best price throughout the project.
Must be a dynamic, standalone Quantity Surveyor and be able to problem solve, whilst overseeing 2-3 projects at one time.
The Ideal Quantity Surveyor must have previous experience as stated above on new build residential projects with a minimum of 3 years experience within in a similar role.
