My client is looking to recruit an area based Senior Planner with demonstrable track record who can operate on site delivering an NEC Contract Programme. The successful candidate will who will report to the Area General Manager and oversee the effective and efficient maintenance of the programme. Your duties will include:Develop and maintain the contractors plan in accordance to the contract.Manage and control programme information.Allocate resources.Assist with the financial progress and performance reporting.Preparation of programme and method information.Develop the tender programme into a fully integrated Design, procurement and project programme. Ideal Qualifications include:Degree / HNC / HNDProgramme delivery experience within the Highways Sector.Demonstrable experience in leadership and resource allocation.Experience in risk identification and assessment.Detailed knowledge and experience of managing and maintaining a works programme.Knowledge of Asta, the full MS Office suite including Project, Project Server and SharePoint. ROE: Quality Inspector - Steel Fabrication
SALARY: Up to £28,000 Plus Package
My client is a family owned engineering business based in Dorset. They are market leaders with in the steel construction industry.
We are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector with experience in a similar role working with mild steel and stainless steel fabrication
Responsibilities of the role:
-Responsible for BSL fabrication Final Inspection
- Weld Inspection
- MPI Weld testing
- Dry Film Thickness
-Provide BCEL sub contract fabricator QC surveillance checks and weld inspection at SC premises, dictated by project requirements and ISO9001.
-Ensure adherence to project Fabrication & QC Inspection & test plans (Both BCEL and Sub Contract)
Conduct random shop floor inspection for;
- Process related checks
- Shot Blast 2.5/Pattern
- Saw checks
- Drill checks
- Coatings (thickness/spray pattern)
-Raise NCR's/report/action/close and where possible instigate corrective actions (in accordance with BSL PM 1.02 non-conforming product)
-Assist in providing KPI data (no of NCR's, fault type, No of Items inspected etc.) for submission
-Ensure all inspection quality control records are completed and maintained correctly and saved in appropriate contract file.
-Provide support to Responsible Weld Coordinator
-Provide support to the Production department regarding quality matters as required.
- Through your attitude and conduct, set an example to others
- Full understanding of H&S procedures
- Actively participate in safety initiatives and communicate any suggestions to improving work activities to improve safety.
