Role: Quality Engineer (Piling)

Location: London and UK

Company: Leading Specialist Contractor

An exceptional Quality Engineer is required for a market leading UK specialist Contractor, to work on multiple high to medium value projects at one time, throughout London and the UK within the Civil Engineering and Geotechnical sector. You will ensure that projects are planned and executed in accordance with the contractual requirements as well as ensure projects maintain, monitor and record all quality associated items to ensure compliance and improvements.

Tasks:

  • Assist in planning piling projects
  • Contribute to and review method statements and risk assessments
  • Assist the managers to co-ordinate the piling activities on site in regards to quality and safety
  • Ensure all contracts are planned with the quality risks discussed and implemented
  • Undertake site safety & quality tool box talks
  • Attend handover meetings

Requirements:

  • Suitable Qualification (Civil Engineering, Geology, Construction Engineering etc)
  • Good Engineering knowledge and ideally experience in Piling or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Knowledge of Quality Control Methods
  • Competent to use Microsoft software packages
