Site Manager Job DescriptionAs a Site Manager, you will have day to day responsibility for supporting the running of the site.Responsibilities include:Ensuring site is running to programme.Management of subcontractors.Ensuring relevant documentation is up to date Liaising with architects/design teams.Client visits.Manage Health & Safety plans.Site setup and inductions.Offering support to Assistant managers.You will report to a Contracts Manager and be given all the relevant support to successfully deliver projects.The company will also put you through relevant training courses and support your professional development. The business currently has a number of projects in the Birmingham area, with a strong pipeline of further work and have a solid client base.
With an already developed team in place, they are continuing to grow at a consistent rate and require further experienced hands on board. You will be comfortable overseeing multiple projects with values of £10m plus.
- Programming of works.
- Managing the delivery team (Project Managers, Site Managers etc.) ensuring projects are running to programme and to budget.
- Sourcing and procurement of sub-contractors.
- Dealing with design related issues alongside Design Managers/Coordinators
- Heading up client meetings.
- Manage Health & Safety plans.
- Overseeing multiple projects from inception to completion.
- Keep an up to date knowledge on all related legislation.
Good knowledge around cut & carve projects would be advantageous.
