The CAPEX works are valued at circa US$100 million per annum spend and are full refurbishments and new builds to areas such as F & B Outlets, Retail Outlets, Hotel Suites, Back of House, etc.   All of the projects are subcontracted out to local Macau main contractors.   Working as part of the client's in-house team, the Senior QS will be responsible for assessing, understanding and managing the commercial aspects for the delivery of pre- and post- contract activities, including liaising with finance on all financial and contract related tasks including budgeting, estimating, tendering, contracting, cash flow management, project administration and reporting throughout the project life cycle.   The Senior QS is the most senior surveying position and reports into the Commercial Director, with a team of QSs supporting their role.   Main Duties: Manage and oversee multiple concurrently running projects in different locations Provide procurement strategy on construction projects Cost Planning and Budgeting Formalization of tender and contract documents Tender evaluation and negotiation Contract Administration, assessment of progress claims, variations and certifying payments Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks Performing risk and value management and cost control Undertaking cost analysis Preparing and monitoring insurance claims   Candidates must be able to fulfill the following requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar Project experience related to five star hotels / high specification complex construction projects Minimum 15 years post graduate experience with at least 5 years at Senior QS Fluent written and spoken English Proficient in MS-Office and financial applications Good at interacting with various consultant disciplines Mature, dynamic, strong organizational and analytical skills Member of RICS, HKIS or equivalent is preferred   The package on offer for this role is circa US$10,500 per month basic salary (taxed at Macau's very low tax rate of c. 6%) plus accommodation assistance allowance of US$1,200 net per month plus relocation allowance, annual flights, annual bonus scheme, pension scheme and medical scheme.   The contract is initially offered for 18 months, with an extension beyond. The interview process will be a first interview by telephone and then a face-to-face interview in Macau.   Due to the work permit process, the anticipated start date is late July 2018
