Role: WPP PlannerSalary: £40,000 plus packageLocation: This would a site based role within the Greater London area.My client is a leading provider of services to the UK's utility, communication, energy and rail sectors.My client is urgently seeking a WPP Planner to join their Rail Division.The successful candidate will be a competent Safe System of work Planner, responsible for for planning, Works Package Plans and Task briefings for works that will take place on Network Rail Controlled Infrastructure, on or near the line or on the line side. Ideally an experienced railway person with knowledge of WPPs and Health & Safety.Must possess good Computer and IT Skills, strong literacy in production of electronic documents and good aptitude with other members of the team to gain the required information.Your duties will include:Ensuring that all the relevant details associated with the package of works have been identified and incorporated into the work package plan.Identification of significant risks associated with the package of works.Ensuring the arrangements and provisions detailed within the plans are adequate for the activities to be undertaken and that all available information has been consulted, including residual risk from the designers risk assessment, hazard directory, survey information, project risk logs, agreed interface arrangements, permit / license requirements, client specifications and SSOW / Possession / OTP plans.Ideal Qualifications include:Trained and certificated as competent in Personal Track Safety Rules (PTS).Trained and certificated as competent As a Controller of Site Safety [COSS] as defined in the Network Rail GE / RT 8000 Series Rule Book).Medically fit to carry out work on Railtrack Controlled Infrastructure, preferably with previous experience of carrying out the duties of a COSS.Must have a good understanding of the Railtrack Rule Book and be able to interpret Sectional Appendices, Hazard Directory, and Environmental Assessments.This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading company.Please contact Peter Morse as soon as possible if you think you are suitable for this role.
