Senior Resourcing Partner - Interim Assignment - Construction - Manchester Our client is a blue-chip market leader in the UK construction industry with a reputation for delivering complex high end building projects to the highest standards. They have a turnover of circa £700 million and employ about 1,000 people across multiple UK locations.With the growth in the UK market, they are rapidly expanding and therefore hiring top level new individuals for key roles in the engineering, project delivery and commercial management parts of their construction business. The HR Director is now looking for a high calibre experienced Senior Resourcing Partner to join them initially on a six month assignment, to support and deliver for the current surge in recruitment requirements. You will be based in Manchester reporting in to the HR Director. The primary focus is to bring process in to the recruitment cycle, ensuring that the requisite number of candidates is being reviewed and ultimately hired. Key duties include:Manage the full recruitment process within the division, in line with business strategies and objectivesWork with hiring managers throughout the organisation to ensure that business and resourcing strategies are alignedBe a point of contact for all recruitment - for external candidates, for recruitment agencies on the PSL and for internal hiring managersAssist with the preparation of role profiles and specificationsResponsibility for recruitment strategy and advertising methodsScreening of incoming applications and CVsSourcing of candidates through website searches, social networks and other responsible and direct methodsMaintenance of careers section of company website and presence on jobsitesPerforming telephone and face-to-face interviewsManagement and scheduling of all interviews and interview feedbackPreparation and negotiation of offer details in line with defined processes prior to formal job offer via HROrganisation of new starters to attend internal induction courseTraining managers on recruitment and selection process in line with current legislation Experience & Qualifications Required Extensive experience of the construction recruitment sector is essentialExperience in internal resourcing with a reputable construction or civil engineering companyOrganised and structured, with the ability to implement process and changeAble to build and maintain good relationships with internal management and external recruitersProfessional, enthusiastic and pro-active in all dealings with candidatesFully up to date understanding of employment law in relation to recruitment and selectionExcellent communication skillsAbility to work accurately and methodicallyAble to work independently and on own initiativeConfidentiality and ability to deal discretely and appropriately with sensitive information.
